    Description

    --- Theme & Setting ---

An ancient entity known as Fate watches over the land of Chance. Unfortunately, the lands are swarming with monsters and there are no heroes left to save the day. Fate isn’t too happy about this and is threatening to abandon the lands it watches over. The only way that Fate will not abandon the lands is if a champion arises and proves their worth in combat and resourcefulness. Guess what? You’ve been hired!

    Details:

Mercenaries of Chance is 4-6 player game where you fight monsters, battle big bosses, and clash with rival mercenaries in order to appease an ancient entity known as Fate.

Great care has gone into designing this game to make it welcoming for newcomers, but fun for board game enthusiasts that appreciate classic board games.

The result is an exciting gateway game that combines classic board game mechanics with more modern RPG elements.

    Players: 4-6
    Play Time: 40-70 Minutes

    --- Basic Gameplay Overview ---

    Goal:?

In a 4 player game players must obtain 4 Victory Points (VP) to win.
If playing with 5-6 players, 5 VP are required to win.

    VP are earned by:

    Knocking out rival mercenaries
    - Trading in 10 Gems (earned from defeating monsters)
    - Successfully defeating Big Bosses
    - Using action cards that are worth 1 VP
    - Holding the Battle Royale Trophy

A standard turn is broken up into 3 phases:
    - Action Phase: Action Item cards may be used during this phase, either before or after the Movement Phase, but not before the Tile or Duel Phases.
    - Movement Phase: Players roll the dice and move their character on the board based on what they roll.
    - Tile/Duel Phase:Players Activate the tiles that they land on. If a player lands on the same tile as another player a Duel commences and the tile is ignored.
