Melos
DescriptionAEGEAN SEA 4,000 BCE Dark obsidian, a glass-like stone, was mined on the volcanic Greek island of Melos for thousands of years. Obsidian was extremely valuable and used to make razor sharp weapons and farm tools. The nearly lifeless island attracted explorers searching for the valuable rocks containing obsidian. They landed their boats next to the beaches and moved inland, where they mined the rock. They pushed the rocks to the beaches and then into their boats for transport overseas. Choose your tiles carefully, so that together they overcome the resistance of the rocks and opponents. Push your opponent’s tiles into the sea to drown them. With more than two players, the scheming starts as you resist or not, or let some opponents pass. Melos is only available as part of the Ancient World Multi Game System. —description from the designer Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment.
