    Description

Lion’s Heart, Saracen’s Steel: The Battle of Arsuf, September 7, 1191. This is the latest game in the Battles of the Middle Ages Series, an easy to learn wargame system that tries to recreate most of the principal battles fought from Roman Times to the dawning of Renaissance. These games are designed to be fast and furious, easy to learn and to play, but still true to the historical events portrayed. Lion's Heart, Saracen's Steel portrays the decisive battle of Arsuf. Richard the Lionhearted led the Crusader Army that was confronted by the legendary Ayyubid leader, Saladin. Although the Crusaders emerged victorious in this hard fought battle, the Third Crusade was ultimately a failure. Can you do as well or better?
