Like many drivers in real life your Linehauler career starts with a Rigid Truck. You'll draw Manifest Cards as you play, which show your destination, cargo and the amount you’ll make. Sometimes special instructions will apply and you will need a Pilot or an Escort, you might also draw the Wide Load or Dangerous Goods Loads, which will require a permit. The Pay Day and Fifth Wheel Cards will also test your luck with bonuses and penalties.

This game is not just pick-up and drop-off, along the journey you’ll get to own the services that support the road transport industry. These income-producing properties include Fuel, Mechanical, Pilot Services, Seaports and even Airports.This game is not without challenges, with stoppages and detours, fire, floods and restrictive tunnels and bridges occupying the board and sometimes forcing heavily-laden drivers around alternate routes.
