Lineage
DescriptionOfficial Site: http://www.lineageboards.com/ Lineage is a two-player, turn-based, abstract strategy game designed by Ray Li at age 16 for a school project. It is played on a board of intersecting ovals and lines. The Objective: Capture the four center points. Game Setup: You start the game with ten of your pieces on or within the starting oval, and the other two on the center points on your right. Game Mechanics: On each turn, you must either move one of your pieces or force an enemy piece. --Moving your own pieces: A piece may move to any intersection along the lines it is on, unless another piece is in its way. Also, every line that goes off the board is connected to the other side of itself. --Forcing an enemy piece: If an enemy piece is surrounded on all sides except one and one of your pieces is behind the enemy piece, you may force the enemy piece through the open intersection (see detailed explanation on the official website). --Piece elimination: You can eliminate pieces by surrounding them. Lineage can be purchased directly from the publisher's website: LineageBoards. Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment. Insert Bullet List Please enter at least one item.
