    Description

Have you ever tried to write a sentence avoiding the letter A? An original party game that trains your creative writing skills, but beware: you don't have to use the poisonous letter!

The youngest player begins, placing the letter marker above the letter board in any position (but which frames one of the letters well) and then moves it on the board by one or two steps (at his discretion, but only in horizontally or vertically). At this point he draws a subject map and the game begins. All competitors, within the time of an hourglass, must write (each on their own slate) a complete sentence of at least 5 words, which is inspired by an element of the map-subject caught and in which the letter indicated by the letter-marker: this will be the "poisonous letter": At the end of the round, the competitors who have managed to write a meaningful sentence earn a point for each word used in the composition (articles, prepositions and other monosyllables are not counted). If a player realizes that he has used the poisonous letter, he does not score points and also loses all those previously earned.

At the end of a round, the hand passes to the next player and the procedure is repeated. The game ends when one of the competitors reaches 50 points (depending on the agreements between the players.) If the subject maps run out, they are reshuffled. Wildcard If a player draws a subject map with a joker, instead it is played at the Letter Catcher. The player who drew the Jolly map draws another subject map to establish the theme of the test. Therefore, within the time of the hourglass, all competitors must write a complete sentence (of at least 5 words), which is inspired by an element of the subject-map drawn and is made up of as many words starting with the indicated letter. For each word that begins with the indicated letter, they earn one point.
