    Description

Letter is an unusual word game. As with many word games, there are letter tiles which are laid on a grid in order to form words. What is unusual about Letter is that the letter tiles are different sizes: 1×1, 1×2, 1×3, 2×1, 2×2, 2×3, 3×2, and 3×3 (because orientation matters). Words are identified by chaining along orthogonally adjacent sides of the letters. As a result, the board can quickly come to look like quite a jumbled mess of letters with varied sizes, but this provides opportunities for lateral thinking in playing that next tile. Each play initiates a Boggle-style word search, but with deference to the active player.
