If you love the moody storytelling aspect of classic fantasy RPGs, and easy rules that make for fast-flowing action thick with atmosphere, you will adore this game. Best played on an old wooden table under candlelight with a tankard of Scottish ale or honeymead.

For solo gamers, it is most fun to play Labyrinthians with two of the provided characters, who you can use to come to your aid in times of high peril, attain the characters' personal quests, or vie against in moments of merciless betrayal or greed.

For those who want a longer game or want to enjoy Labyrinthians as a multi-session campaign, there are expansions to the core game too. The Labyrinth has three new levels: the sewers, the earthen and the magma levels. And there is a three-part prequel wilderness campaign: The Woodland Way, the Bogs of Moorh, the snowy path to The Secret Tree, where lies the entrance to the Labyrinth itself.
