    Description

Kandy Crush is a two-player game that portrays the Kingdom of Kandy (on the island of modern day Sri Lanka) and how they fought (and allied with) neighboring kingdoms as well as three colonial powers.

The game is played in up to three turns (called epochs) with each epoch having one active colonial power. They are, in order, Portugal, the Netherlands and Great Britain.

Each epoch consists of three phases of card play where the two sides take turn trying to manipulate the game state by using events from the cards as well as their Action Point Value to resolve actions.

At the end of each epoch a winner of that particular epoch is declared. The first side to achieve two Epoch Victories is declared the victor of the game.
