Description

JUX, a story building game for creative thinkers, is a card game for 2-8 players that lets you all become co-authors of your own wacky, where's-it-going tale. The goal of JUX is to create a story by building a collaborative, run-on sentence, inspired by the quirky illustrations. The game takes 5 minutes to learn, and lasts 30 minutes or longer (depending on how much fun you are having).

Each round begins by revealing a new Objective card and choosing "the best way" or "the worst way" to pursue it. Each player in turn then adds a sentence fragment, using one of their images cards, to extend or to improve the current story - playing off of what others have played.

A player just created a hilarious twist to the story? Give them a Appreciation Token for their creative contribution. Someone's new addition sounds like the best way to accomplish the objective, instead of the worst way? Challenge their card, and make a convincing argument to your friends. Branch the story onto a new path to take the tale in a new direction. Think up a creative ending to the collaborative story to finish the round. All will gain you Appreciation Token, an acknowledgement for your creative thinking throughout play. Collect the most Appreciation Token to become the Best Storyteller!
