    Description

In Iron Reign, you play the role of a king competing to expand your kingdom while battling to keep opponent's kingdoms in chaos. Glory is obtained by raining down Iron munitions on your enemies' castle walls. This turn based strategy game allows players to experience new adventures and tactics in every campaign.

Iron Reign is played in a series of phases that make up each round. Kings must first manage their kingdom's Gold. Purchase an army of troops, a fleet of ships, an arsenal of cannons, kingdom specialists, and most importantly new castle walls to expand your kingdom. Move your troops and fleet into battle. Take aim and let the Iron fly; this is a key part to setting back and crippling your enemies expansion. Hopefully you purchased enough new wall segments to repair your castle and expand into new areas on the map. If you can't repair at least one of your castles your reign has ended and your enemy has claimed victory. After a tough round of battle deploy new units on the board and prepare for the next round of battle to begin.

Some struggles will end in a kingdom falling to an enemy while others will result in one king expanding the kingdom and taking over so much territory that victory is claimed. So many strategy combinations can be put together for victory. Eight unique kingdom specialists (occupations) can be hired to change your kingdom's strategy. These range from markets that yield extra gold to workshops that convert troops into massive land roving siege weapons. What will be your strategy, quick expansion or maybe an arsenal of cannons?
