Höhlengrölen
DescriptionHöhlengrölen is a satirical card game of prehistoric musicians in the folk, pop, metal and rap genres, many of whom seem to resemble their 21st century counterparts. Players collect cards from the deck and discards to form bands in one of the genres or crossover bands in the form of boy bands and girl groups. Each group's value is based on the aggregate appeal of the invididual musicians, how novel they are and whether they employed singing and dancing instructors, not to mention the all-important stylist. The boss demands that each producer's (player's) band be an improvement over his last one so it gets trickier and trickier. This is made harder by the fact that a player may never keep more than six cards. Play over several hands to see who is the best producer of them all. Card artwork by Lutz Winter. Premiered Essen 2002. From the publisher's site: Perform castings to choose among the (more or less) talented stone age musicians and form succesful bands with them. Maybe you succeed in becoming "Producer of the Year". But to achieve that every new band has to surpass their predecessors... no easy task! 60 cards in cardboard box Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment.
