Gyre
DescriptionGyre is a drawless connection game for two, played on an initially empty hexhex board. The players take turns placing a stone of their own color until a winner is determined. You win by making a group with the following property: Even if you only had that group, and the rest of the board were filled with enemy stones, no enemy group would cover the majority of the cells comprising the perimeter cells and the center cell. Gyre was invented by Mark Steere in 2015. The above is not Mark's original description, but it is equivalent. Read the original description on the publisher's web site: marksteeregames.com.
