Green Guardians is a strategic resource management game based on the scarcity, risk, and cost-benefit of natural resource use. Green Guardians is inspired by the precious natural world around us that is being irreparably altered through climate change and habitat destruction. The challenge for the Guardians is to find the balance of seeking prosperity without polluting the world beyond recovery.

Green Guardians is a strategic game for 2-4 players, recommended for ages 10 and up, and after a quick setup lasts 45-60 minutes. Players' choices drive the action and competition but random events provide an extra challenge.

Guardians explore the undiscovered world to gather resources. The resources can be used to build and upgrade to structures that provide additional resources and research. However their actions create waste that accumulates over time to form pollution that prevents the structures from working. In addition, the use of resources subjects the Guardians to disasters that slow down their progress. Guardians overcome these challenges by using their resources to research abilities and cleanup the pollution to keep their buildings productive.
