    Description

A ratling army is an undisciplined horde. They swarm across the battlefield pushing slaves and house rats in front in order to soak up enemy missile fire. They use large units of lightly armed skirmishers to outflank the enemy and attack from an unexpected direction. They use strange weapons and magic fueled warmachines that can cause panic in the enemy ranks. Ratling priests use strange ancient magics to blast enemy formations and reinforce faltering ratling morale.

A ratling army uses a ton of basic troops supported by ratling guns, ratling snipers and lightning cannons in order to hold the enemies attention. While the enemy tries to thin the ratling hordes and deal with their magical warmachines and firearms, a horde of giant rats and rat swarms speed across the battlefield to attack vulnerable troops or distract enemy cavalry. All the while wererat assassins and sewer scouts move into a position behind the enemy and attack from an unexpected direction. Once the enemy is surrounded it cannot escape and is swarmed under by a horde of furry bodies.

Get Some! Fantasy Warfare is about getting your models out and playing an enjoyable wargame for a couple of hours with your buddies. It is NOT about WAAC (Winning at all Costs) but about designing an army that fits your collection and play style as well as the background for the Universe you are playing in. Tactics and Command should play the pivotal roles in the battle as well as a little bit of Luck and NOT pimped out units. Armies should be a mix of Melee, Ranged and Magical/Monsterous units. Each should check some of the power of the others in the rock, paper, scissors kind of way, which is similar to actual warfare.
