    Description

    Played on an 8X8 board, Gauntlet is a game of unequal forces.

    White has six pieces centred on last row on one side of board.

    Black has six in each adjacent side (2 sides for 12 pieces)

    MOVEMENT - All stones move in just one direction one space at a time

    The right Black stones move left,
    The left Black stones move right,

    The White stones move away from their start row.
    White runner player moves first!

    Stones are captured by jumping enemy stones. Captures are mandatory, but the player may choose between multiple captures.

    The two sides have differing goals, white to reach the last rank with one stone.

    Black to capture all white stones.
