Description

Game of Pawns: Iron Cauldron gives you the opportunity to become king Izanoff and save the holy city of Argenost from King Horvat the Horrible. Lead a bunch of misfits from the infamous 2nd Infantry Izanoff Regiment against the powerful and dreaded Horvatian Army in the Battle of the Iron Cauldron.

In this two-player chess-like game, players can switch sides for the Second Battle of the Iron Cauldron for a purely unique battle experience. The invading Horvatian Army units can receive promotions while 2nd Infantry Izanoff Regiment can receive reinforcements from the city of Argenost. In the third and final battle, 2nd Infantry faces off against King Horvat's elite Wolf Guard Regiment in an epic game of pawns.

To win the game, you capture or trap your opponent's king or they are forced to surrender. The game ends with a draw if capturing the king becomes futile for either side.

Each player takes turns moving a unit towards the enemy based on their unit's movement/attack ability, to gain ground, capture enemy pieces, set traps, enforce area denial or perform counteroffensive operations.
