DescriptionExcalibur: The Battles of King Arthur is a Hold the Line system game that allows gamers to refight 8 battles of King Arthur. Players will use terrain tiles to lay out the battlefields from the Battle Book. Victory is determined by controlling terrain and eliminating enemy units. Each turn, players will receive a random number of action points which allows them to move, fight, conduct charges and rally units. Leaders are present to lead the troops assisting in battle and rally. Special units such as Berserkers, Pedyt, Sagitarii, Light Cavalry,Fyrd, and Gesith. The leaders have special abilities. The River Glein Optional rules include Merlin and Morganna adding the myth and magic to the game.
