Endspiel: Eine deutsche Apokalypse
DescriptionDesigned and promoted in 1979 or shortly after by "Glatteis", a German satirical magazine (motto: "The absurd is the reality"), this is a simple roll-and-move game which is a "satirical, partly realistic mirror of our real life" (from the introductory text). Players start in a randomly determined town and race to complete a circuit through the other five towns on the very abstract map of Germany. Players can choose between a "career path" and an "alternative path" for their trip. Special fields may force a change of path, and players may influence the game by placing bridges and barricades.
