    Description

DIRTSIDE is a D6 based rules system designed for playing out table-top miniatures actions simulating Armour and Infantry actions in a Science-Fiction setting, whether on Earth or other worlds.

It is a generic system allowing players to generate arms and armor from any setting they choose.

The rules are aimed primarily at 1/300 miniatures but can easily be used at any scale.

Rules cover Infantry, Armour, Artillery, Air Support and even Battle-walkers.

Some of the mechanisms include Multiphase turns, Overwatch, Line of Sight, ECM and Time-on-target.

This set of rules was followed up by the more detailed and better produced DIRTSIDE II rules (http://www.boardgames.com/boardgame/5687).
