    Description

D-DAY SOLITAIRE is a fast-playing roll n' write dice game for one to five players.

The game attempts to recreate the Normandy landings of World War II in a simple yet challenging manner. The design is meant to be a quick, fun, and historical beer & pretzels simulation. There is a map sheet of varying difficulties for each of the five Normandy beaches -- Sword, Juno, Gold, Omaha, and Utah. You play as the Allied D-Day forces that hit the beaches on June 6th, 1944.

In the multi-player variant, each player plays on one of the five beach maps against their own German A.I. opponent. The beach landings vary in difficulty; therefore, "extra points" are awarded based on the beach's level of difficulty in order to achieve a relative balance among all of the beaches. The player who achieves the highest score is declared the winner.
