The game is for 1-4 players, and each session of the game consists of playing through a chapter and achieving the objectives for the chapter. Players control the pets to interact with the environment, progress through the location, and outsmart the enemies who are trying to stop them.

There are 11 planned chapters (plus a tutorial) in the campaign, in a branching format so players can play the full game multiple times to see the different branching stories.
