    Description

Curse of the Necronomicon is a trading card game where players take control of the spells and creatures described in the Necronomicon( based on the works of HP Lovecraft, August Derleth, and many others) and compete against each other to see who can hold on to their sanity while driving the other to madness. They do this by summoning creatures and casting spells from the pages of the Necronomicon to drive their opponent to madness.

    How To Play:
    1. Each player starts with a 35 card deck that they shuffle at the beginning of the game and draw five cards
    2. Each player then starts their turn with the draw phase then the summoning phase then the end phase
2(a). during the draw phase the player draws one card from the top of their deck
2(b.) during the summoning phase players may summon up to four creatures at a time on the field and may cast two spells per turn
2(c). during the end phase players may attack the opponent sanity or their creatures and the effect of spells take place
    3. A player may take damage to their sanity when a spell is cast on them or a creature attacks them
    4. The game ends when one player has run out of sanity and is now mad
Special rule: in order to summon larger creatures such as great old ones or outer gods a sacrifice is needed: for a Great Old One two lesser creatures must be sacrificed and for an Outer God two Great old Ones( or equivalent ) must be sacrificed. To check the classification of creatures and what spells affect them check the keywords.
