    Description

One player is the scantily clad "Victim" trying to escape the horrors of the Creepy-Crawley Castle to reach the "Castle of Safety"... the other players are a Mummy, Werewolf or Vampire trying to catch her! The victim will have a head start but the path to salvation is strewn with both dubiously useful weapons and horrifying setbacks (for victim and villain alike). And that dastardly gargoyle at the end may even decree that EVERYONE loses, dear reader... thus the corpse crumbles.

This is one of five somewhat tongue-in-cheek games from Warren magazines (publishers of Creepy, Eerie, Vampirella and others) that features their rad 70s artwork, creepy critters, sly wit and perilous situations in classic monster chase "spin and move" gameplay.

The Creepy Crawley Castle Game was created by Bill DuBay and appeared in Creepy magazine #55 (August 1973) and Eerie magazine #50 (August 1973) as inside the magazine cover items, ready to cut out and play, and separately in 1974 as a bundle of "Warren Monster Madness" games by mail order (#2661 for $2.50). The bundle included Capture, Monster Match, Creepy-Crawley Castle (aka Creepy Castle), Werewolf! and Monster's Castle.
