Connections
DescriptionBased on the Granada/ITV game show that ran from 1985-1990, in which players score points by by answering general knowledge questions and make connections from letters, numbers and picture clues. The game is divided into six rounds: Connect the Clue, Link the Letter, Find the Figure, Link the Letter, Find the Clue, and Connect the Clue. Connect the Clue involves answering questions and figuring out the connection between the picture clues that go with them. Link the Letter involves answering seven questions, with the first letter of each answer being placed on the board. Players win the round by unscrambling those letters and coming up with the correct word. Find the Figure involves solving a long math equation. Again, players answer questions, with parts of the equation being placed after each answer. The first player to solve the equation wins the round. Scoring for each round is 10 points per correct answer, and a bonus of 100 points for making the connection, except in the final round, where it’s 20 points per answer and 200 bonus points for making the connection. The player with the highest score after six rounds wins. Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment. Insert Bullet List Please enter at least one item.
