    Description

    Commando Actions is a turn based hex and counter small unit level simulation of commando actions or raids during WWII. Hexes are 25 meters, elevation levels 150 feet, turns are 10 minutes and counter are 3-10 men teams or single tanks, guns, ships, buildings, etc.

    The game rules are divided into the basic game (book 1 of the rules) and optional/advanced optional rules (book 2). Optional rules:
    • Night and sunrise turns
    • Dummy units
    • Alert status and alarms
    • Sentry units
    Advanced Optional rules include:
    • Aircraft
    • Naval shore batteries and support ships
    • Blind fire and scatter
    • Evade movement
    • Run movement
    • Voluntary suppression/pin

    Commando Actions is very similar (more compatible than similar) in scale and mechanics to Pacific theater game Beachhead: A Game of Island Invasions in the South Pacific 1942-1944.
