    Description

    Combat Command - Advanced Game

This addition to the innovative Combat Command system includes the full advanced game and optional rules which allow players to tailor their games to whatever level of simulation detail they wish.

The Advanced Game builds on but does not change the rules from the Basic Game.
The Advanced rules include additional terrain rules, extra capabilities for troops including Engineer, Recon and Anti-Tank.
These rules also expand Commanders capabilities and add new command functions.
New rules also cover National Differences in order to give a unique flavor to the armies fielded by the United Kingdom, the United States, the Soviet Union and Germany.

The optional rules add a new level of simulation detail including rules to reflect the difficulty of using long barreled weapons in urban settings and a complete list of Engineer tasks from digging foxholes to building bridges.

Despite the increased level of simulation detail the system retains the logical and easy to use mechanics of the original game making it ideal for club or convention play. Easy to introduce to new players yet a satisfying and complete game for even the most battle tested World War II gamer.

This section requires a copy of Combat Command - the Basic Game to use.

As an added bonus this packet also includes Saint Lo to the Siegfried line a set of Army Lists covering July to November 1944. These lists allow players to recreate historical Battlegroups in evenly matched battles. In addition a section covers how to create well balanced battles based on actual historical match ups. This section can be used with virtually any platoon based system.
