    Description

Cityline is a postcard roll and write game.

    Gameplay:
The game takes place over three phases. First is the Construction Phase where you will erect your buildings, followed by the Time Phase where you will determine if it's day or night, and ending with the Occupancy Phase where your buildings are populated. Afterwards, players will score.

    -summary from rules

During the Construction Phase, you will roll all of the dice, then use those dice to build the walls (or possibly add 'early occupants') of your buildings on a city grid, based on your dice numbers (one re-roll of every die allowed).

Next, you'll set aside one of those dice you've already used, using its number compared to a roof chart, to build a "roof" (which determines the type of building). This continues for six total rounds, with each round using one less die.

During the Time Phase, you'll evaluate the time of day based on the numbers that you had set aside for the roof selection.

The Occupancy Phase is similar to the Construction Phase, with dice rolling (no re-rolls this time) followed by choosing which dice to use to populate buildings, then setting aside a die each round for end game weather scoring.

This goes on for six rounds.
Scoring is based on how successful you were in constructing and occupying your buildings.
