    Description

Chipco Chess takes the basic movement rules of chess and adds wargame-style combat rules.

Outcomes are no longer certain because of the use of a d10. Chipco Chess is not solve-able, in the sense of standard chess, since thinking ahead is not possible. Players of all abilities have a more equal chance of winning the game.

Chipco Chess is played using a standard board with either chess pieces or wargame bases.

Variants are included that tailor the game to certain periods:

    Ancient/Fantasy
    Crusades/Medieval
    Samurai
    American Civil War
