    Description

    Goal:
    Players earn points for building Chat Chains using Response Cards, working together to get the highest possible team score by having a focused conversation.

    2-player: The first player (Chat Starter) selects a question from a Topic card to begin the chain, places this card in the center of the play area, and answers it for one point, or asks the next player to answer but earns no point. The next player continues the chain by answering, and placing a Response card next to the Topic card; if they need help in answering, they can get a suggestion from a Prompt card, but will not earn points for its placement in the chain. With 3+ players, Response cards can be kept in front of each player to track individual scoring.

    Play continues with each player placing 1-2 Response cards. A conversation can include a combination of any types of questions, answers, or comments.

    Round End:
    A round ends when the Chat Chain is broken. This happens when:
    -A player decides to finish the topic;
    -A player goes off topic; or
    -A player takes too long to respond.

    3+ players:
    More players introduce the optional gameplay role of Judge, a neutral observer who does not place cards.

    Ending the Game:
    The game can end after:
    -10 rounds;
    -30 minutes of gameplay; or
    -A total team score of 200 is reached
