Description

Broadside: Empires of Steel is a fully printable tabletop miniatures game set in the era of the Dreadnought Battleship.

The game is designed for fast, action-packed games between fleets consisting of roughly 7 to 12 ships per side.

The rules allow you to play a game of six turns in a couple of hours with decisive results. They are also designed to be fun, without the need for consulting vast numbers of tables to find out what is happening to your ships.

The game has a Quick Play Rule book, a mission book and five Fleet List books.
The Mission book has twelve missions, six that use objective miniatures and are narrative and six that are designed for fleet battles. The fleet list books help you construct fleets. All the ships have a corresponding card. On this ship card are points to ensure even sided games can be played if your not looking to re-create historical encounters.

2021 has seen the release of the Three Crowns expansion giving players ships and fleet books for Italy and Austria-Hungary. The Kickstarter also unlocked other lists and ships for The Empire of Great Britain, the Empire of Germany and the U.S. Navy.

September 2021 will see the third release for Broadside EOS called Hunting Grounds. This expansion will add the Imperial Russian Navy, new missions, token STL's, aircraft, submarines, upgrade cards, aircraft carriers and a fort.

The game has 116 ships STL's so far.
