Borscht!
DescriptionBorscht! is a set collection and strategy card game for 3-4 players ages 8 and up. Players become Cossack peasants competing to complete a pot of traditional borscht (beet soup) while fending off the marauding tartars and sandy mole rats. In this society, economy is king--the Cossack with the cheapest borscht wins. Game components include 101 Borscht! cards, 4 action and recipe cards,4 player identification cards, 20 coins in an old sock, and a six-sided die. Each character identity has special abilities (such as the "Baboushka" (wise woman) whose negotiating skills allow her to buy commodities below market value.
