    Description

"Ahoy me hearties, have I a story for ye! Years ago I was the high captain of a grand fleet of ships. The world was the helm of me ship, and I had her in the palm of me hand. Then, a warring storm came upon us before we knew it and in a flash me entire fleet was sleeping in the depths of Davy Jones' Locker. As luck would have it, myself and a hand full of me scallawags managed to stay afloat on a raft made from empty rum barrels. For days we were adrift, thirsty, hungry, and scorched by the sun. Of the original crew only myself and three others survived the trial. We were saddened by the loss of our brothers and sisters at sea, yet somehow smiles found us again as we finally stepped upon the shores of an uncharted desert island. The island was just rich enough with fresh water and resources to support the four of us. After years on the island, we missed our old life so much, that we came up with this game to remind us of who we once were. Other than our bones, it is all that remains of a life that once was."

Black Flags is a competitive table-top game which uses a unique rondel system, story telling, dice rolling, and narrative choice to transport players to a fantasy world of piracy, commerce, and nautical adventure.

Players take turns in clockwise fashion until a player takes the last gold coin from the bank. When this occurs, the game immediately ends. The player with the most gold wins the game.
