Bhargage
DescriptionBhargage plays similarly to Five-card Cribbage, with cards of the Extended Decktet instead of regular cards. The linear deck of Cribbage is substituted by the fluid, interwoven deck of Bhargage. The Decktet cards and scoring combinations give Bhargage an entirely different flavor. Frequently, Bhargage presents interesting decisions that are quite alien to Cribbage thinking. Sets of 2 or more cards of the same value score points, as in Cribbage. Players score for cards totaling 11, not 15, and the play of the cards is up to 23, not 31. Sequences don't score in Bhargage, but Bhargage uses the bharg combination, which is common to other Decktet games—a bharg is a set of cards containing each of the six suits exactly once. The Pawns, Courts, and Excuse of the Extended Decktet are zero-valued cards in Bhargage, and can multiply the counts for 11 in the scoring. The Excuse also has no suit and can likewise multiply the score for bhargs. Lastly, players score for "shortage," for the number of suits not present in the opponent's hand. Bhargage is played up to 111, not 121. Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment. Insert Bullet List Please enter at least one item.
