    This was the first of 6 assorted map packs to be released by FASA, expanding the available terrain for BattleTech and BattleForce games.

    Produced on cardstock like the maps provided in the BattleTech: 2nd Edition box set, this map set contained four maps, described as "Open Terrain", "River Valley", "Lake Area" and "City/Industrial Complex." At least two of these maps would be re-issued in later map sets, although anecdotal evidence suggests that different versions of this set were sold in different countries.
