    Description

Game covers the battle of Ebro, the longest and largest battle of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). It was fought between July and November 1938, with fighting mainly concentrated in two areas on the lower course of the Ebro River, the Terra Alta comarca of Catalonia, and the Auts area close to Fayón in the lower Matarranya, Eastern Lower Aragon. The results of the battle were disastrous for the Republican forces, with tens of thousands of dead and wounded and little effect on the advance of the Nationalists.

Game uses brigade-battalion scale. One of the most important aspects of the game is to keep as many bridges on ebro as possible, since it's the only way for tanks, artiller and supply to cross the river. Nationalists may use their air forces to destroy the bridges, slowing the Republican advance down.
