Bakudan Takarabako
DescriptionUser summary In the game of Bomb & Treasure, players are pirates who try to grab treasures while avoiding bombs. Each round, a player (sender) places a card face-down, which is either a treasure of 1-10 value or a bomb, and sends it to another player (receiver), saying the value the card. The sender may lie if it is a bomb and say any value, but if it is a number card, they cannot lie and must say the actual value of the card. The receiver may either accept and reveal it, or sends it back to the sender and forces the sender to reveal it, or adds another card and passes both cards to any other player, including the sender. Now the card or cards must be revealed and the player who has them takes all of them, including bombs revealed, and puts them face-up in front of themself. After each player has taken a turn as sender, players draw back to five cards in hand. With total of three bombs, that player is out of the game. If a player has two bombs in front of them, they don't want to risk getting a third bomb, and so may easily decline an offer of a high value card. If a player gets a set of 1,2 & 3, they equal 10 points, so players may accept low value cards and be fooled into taking a bomb. You win the game if you accumulate 30 value of treasures, or all other players are out of the game, or you have the highest value of treasures when the ninth bomb is revealed.
