    Description

    Ramming Speed!

During the American Civil War the Union and Confederate navies clashed for control of the rivers of Virginia, fighting for control of the waterways leading to the capital cities of both sides. Now you can take part in this struggle with Anaconda: Capital Navies.

Anaconda: Capital Navies is a campaign framework designed to generate tabletop miniature games simulating riverine naval battles of the American Civil War. The purpose is to link together a series of tabletop battles in a framework that provides players with reasons for fighting battles beyond the mere presence of the enemy. Victory goes to the side best able to meet their objectives and not merely who wins the tactical battles.

Anaconda: Capital Navies includes a strategic map of rivers and bays of Virginia and the surrounding area. Anaconda: Capital Navies is designed for use with any set of tabletop ACW naval war game rules. The game requires but does not include; dice, miniatures and tactical rules for resolving combat on the tabletop.

Anaconda: Capital Navies is NOT compatible with Anaconda. Capital Navies does NOT require a copy of Anaconda to conduct the campaign. Capital Navies is a stand alone product.
