DescriptionIt’s the 1960s. Each Player is at the helm of a zoomy Advertising Agency on New York’s Madison Avenue. They compete to acquire the Advertising Accounts of major brands spending millions of dollars each year on advertising. There are 32 Accounts with annual Ad Budgets ranging from $1 million to $10 million. Your Personnel are the key to success in the ad game. To aquire accounts you must employ both ‘Creatives’ and Account handlers (business types known as ‘Suits’). This will require strategic risk-taking in the deployment of the Agency’s two resources: Personnel and Working Capital. Players may choose any of four different Strategies for playing the game: Ethical, Co-Operative, Payola and Peacenik. Each strategy involves both an upside and downside and may be abandoned or switched during the game.The winner of the game is the first Player to acquire Accounts whose Advertising Budgets total $50 million or more. Or you can impose a time limit, the winner being the one commanding the most Advertising Budgets at the end of play. The maximum possible target is $80 million, which could take a long time.
