    Description

Academe is a quick, cooperative, filler card game for 3 players: one Thinker, one Teacher and one Builder. The players must expend and earn Ideas, Knowledge and Material by building inventions. Possible inventions are determined by turning over cards in rounds, and the player must choose which invention to build in each turn. If, by the end of the three rounds of the game, the team has earned enough of these three commodities to build a University, they win the game.

Because it is non-competitive, it can also be easily played by fewer than 3 people, if one player wants to play more than one character. In addition, the commodity targets can be lowered to make the game easy to win, for young children.
