    Description

A7V depicts the first large scale use of German A7V tanks during the battle for Villers-Bretonneux, April 24-25, 1918.

The battle for this key town happened several times before because it was a key railroad junction that led to Amiens, a BritishFrench occupied city.
Knowing this, the Germans planned their tank attack comprising of 13 A7V and assault troops after their major offensive, Michael, had failed by late March, 1918.
