4•Plex is the first multi-purpose game of skill or luck. You can play for the challenge or play for fun. The varying complexity that can be created after the mastery of the Short Play are endless, yet the simplicity of play will appeal to the kid in all of us.

The sequence of play can be summarized as follows:

• Divide the board equally among the players
• Insert your color-cups into the board (setup)
• In turn, each player chooses one of the color-cups for distribution (distribution sequence), going round and around the board until your hand ends in a previously empty cup or until it ends in a cup that forms a set (capturing sets)
• As sets of 4 plexis are formed and captured they are removed from the board and will become the property of the captor

Now that sounds simple enough! The problem is, you are not the only one trying to win. Your opponent(s) will plot against your every move. The challenge is to out-smart them and win the established advantage.
