Vicksburg: the War for the West is a two-player wargame covering the battle in the West for the Mississippi valley during the American Civil War. The game includes 4 separate Situation games covering different periods in the conflict. The game also includes rules for 2 Campaign games.

Each hex = about 10 miles of terrain
Each game turn = 2 weeks of actual time
Counters = 200
