The Arian Controversy
DescriptionThe Arian Controversy: A Game of Heresy and Hilarity is a light strategy game for two players. Set in the early fourth century AD, one player takes on the role of Arius, attempting to gain support for his position that Jesus was not equal to God. The opposing player takes the role of Alexander, bishop of Alexandria, and attempts to convince the world that Jesus was equal to God. Players must move quickly around the board, spreading their message across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. On their turn, players draw two cards, each of which has a certain number of action points. Using one card for action points, players move around the board and lay down support cubes. The other card is stored away, to be used at the Council of Nicaea. Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment. Insert Bullet List Please enter at least one item.
