    Description

Salamaua '42 is a solitaire simulation of the Australian commando raid of 29 June 1942 on the north coast of New Guinea.

The Australians must cause as much damage to the Japanese defenders while minimising their own casualties.

The action is regulated by a series of tables and the level of success is determined by the amount of risk the commandos are willing to take. The roll of the dice also makes the outcome unpredictable.
