    In Microcosmos you represent a bacterial species, to thrive and win you need to grow and multiply, acquire unique characteristics of eukaryotic cells as the cell nucleus, improve your metabolism and evolve as many organelles as possible before the nutrients and environment's available resources are depleted.

    The player that controls the bacterial species that has managed to accumulate the highest score according to their performance and number of evolutions achieved will be the winner.
