Mexica Museum
DescriptionIn this game, 1 to 4 players take on the role of human characters, who must survive a night trapped inside the Museum, working together, engaging in combat, solving riddles, and collecting various items such as weapons, keys, or ancient artifacts from the exhibition, to fulfill different missions that will allow them to escape alive, before their time runs out. A single player will take on the role of the ghost priest. His sole purpose is eliminate all humans who wander around the museum, so that they serve as ritual sacrifice to the ancient gods. To do this, he will have the help of subortinated entities and various EVENTS that will occur every in-game “hour”. HOW TO PLAY (overview): Each round, HUMAN characters play following their specific character order. HUMAN players get two actions each turn, which can use to a) move, b) use Healing or defensive ITEMS (on themselves or on another player, adjacent to them) or c) share ITEMS with another adjacent player. Players can also skip one or both of their actions, and throw away unwanted ITEMS to clear storage space (each player can carry up to 4 ITEMS) Last is the GHOST PRIEST's turn: each turn, this character plays one card from his/ her GHOST DECK: these cards show different Chess movements, that the GHOST can perform during his/ her turn. After the GHOST’s turn, the game’s clock is moved 10 “minutes” and a new round begins. When an in-game “hour” is completed, the GHOST resets his/ her deck, and takes an EVENT card: its instructions are followed by all players. If a HUMAN looses all HP, get’s WOUNDED: its unable to move, use ITEMS and has to let go of all ITEMS. If another player doesn’t heal the WOUNDED player during 3 turns, the wounded character DIES, and transforms into another GHOST, hunting down his/ her former allies onwards. Each game is set around a different story or “game mode”, that sets different player counts and goals. There are currently 3 different modes: All campaigns have a time limit. If time runs out and players can’t achieve their specific goals, HUMANS automatically lose. -description from designer Game DiscussionsAdd CommentYou need to be logged in to comment.
