    Description

In Geisha, each player will seek to become the geisha with the best reputation in Kyoto. For this, it is necessary to practice different arts: Haiku (poetry), Ikebana (floral arrangements), Ocha (tea), Shamisen (musical instrument) and Uta (singing). The more these arts are practiced, the better the attributes of the geisha: patience, discipline, creativity, dedication and elegance. These attributes will allow the geisha to travel to many teahouses throughout Japan and gain even more reputation.

The player will do so by placing three workers each turn. The spaces to place workers are unique minigames to practice arts and improve their attributes or go to teahouses throughout Japan to directly raise their reputation. At the end of the game, the player who has visited more prefectures will have a better reputation.

The game lasts for 12 rounds, marked with an incense. It marks the duration of a geisha's tea ceremony in reality, so this game takes that idea to mark the end of the game.
