Description

Crown of Aragón is a card-based area control game set in the vast medieval kingdoms that controlled the western Mediterranean Sea, stretching from northern Spain all the way to southern Italy. As the monarch of one of these smaller kingdoms, you will seek to prove your worth as a ruler and bring unity to the larger region by claiming the vacant Crown.

The game is played using a shared draw deck of 54 cards. On a player's turn they play one or more cards into one of three areas of influence; Economic, Military, or Political. Then players compare the total strength of their cards in each area to determine who if anyone will gain influence in those areas this turn. A player wins when they have 10 influence in a single area (or 5 influence in two areas) at the end of their opponent's influence phase.
