    Description

Confrontation is a wargame covering hypothetical conflicts during the 1950-70 period on a global scale. It is fairly abstract, with generic land units but some detail on the capabilities of different air and naval units.

Confrontation was notable for using a map of the entire world (a Rand McNally map with movement points and such printed over it). It was one of the first simulation games to cover modern warfare and to allow for more than two players (although the emphasis is on the two-player game).
